The situation there was some concrete protruding slightly near the base which was bending the bottom of the guide out \u2013 despite it still being aligned with the opposite guide, the fact it bent out appeared to be causing the light curtain to fault \u2013 similar to what you are reporting here \u2013 it was quite intermittent. Once we removed the guide and cut off the protruding concrete, the guide was straight and the light curtain worked fine. I would check that none of the guide fixings are bending the guide in any way. \r\n\r\nI notice that they had applied grease into the guides. I appreciate this was probably an effect to get them working but please avoid doing this in future. It will tend to gather dirt which will get onto the light curtains and stop them working properly causing ongoing issues onsite.
